Admission to NYWO courses and ensembles is by audition only.

Auditioning will take place in the autumn at centres throughout the country. If you are successful in your audition you will be accepted for the year.

2012 Auditions

Auditions for NYWO 2012 will take place at the following locations and dates:

London:  25th September, 2 October,   9 October,  20 November
Birmingham:  23 October
Manchester:  16th October
Wells:  5th November
Glasgow: 13th November

NYWO offers young musicians opportunities to mix with like minded people of a similar playing standard, to make lifelong friends and to work with composers and conductors from other countries.

There is a £25 administration charge to audition .  You can pay the £25 fee when you come to audition for us.

If you are accepted at audition for any of our ensembles please note that your attendance is normally required at both courses each year.  Therefore you should check that you are available for all the course dates.

 

Course Requirements

Ensemble	Age range	Standard required	Fees
Main Orchestra	15- 21 years	Grade VIII (with distinction) or recommendation from a teacher	£545 per course (includes all accommodation, food, tuition, leisure activities.
Focus on Chamber Music	14 years +	Grade IV to VII	£395 (includes all accommodation, food, tuition and leisure activities)

Please note that all fees are linked to accommodation costs on our courses.

• Attendance forms are available after each course to send to your local authority who may help with fees.
